What happens when a temperamental hybrid king discovers that his former protege and very own sister actually plotted his demise decades ago just so they could walk down the streets of New Orleans hand in hand, without him giving them the stink eye? Obviously all hell breaks loose and things get deadly as the offended party decides to dish out a piping hot serving of revenge. Well get ready for a night at the opera, loves, because The Originals episode 15 has it all: family showdowns, devastating secrets, and star-crossed lovers!
According to new 1919 flashback images from “Le Grand Guignol” (the name of a famous opera house known for its sadistic, horror-fueled plays), Sebastian Roché is guest-starring as the Mikaelson family’s maniacal patriarch-turned-hunter, Mikael, and we spy him grabbing drinks with Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), the vamp who invited him to NOLA in the first place. Moreover, we get a rare glimpse of Elijah (Daniel Gillies) cozying up to the lovely-yet-traitorous Celeste (Raney Branch), who has nothing but a tiny towel separating her dewy body from her lover’s muscles. Will things get steamy? Let’s hope so!
In terms of present time shots, we get a sneak peek at Elijah confronting “Sabine” (Shannon Kane) about her wicked ways and helping Rebekah avoid Klaus’s scarlet wrath. We also get a taste of what Marcel and Rebekah (Claire Holt) are up to now that they are supernatural fugitives on the run. Judging by Klaus’s enraged expression and his unquenchable thirst for violence, you’d assume they’d flee town to avoid being punished for their terrible betrayal. However, it seems as though they have more important matters to attend to before skedaddling — including dropping by the local cemetery late at night. (Marcel is seen holding a small body that’s covered with a white shroud. Perhaps he refuses to leave Davina behind, worried that Klaus might use her as a prop in his payback scheme?)
